Here is a photo I took during the Band Competition. I believe the squadron is 767 Dearman (which isn't mine).
There is some sort of silence before coming on stage for any kind of competition. Your inner emotions start to swirl in your head: Do you know the music? Have you got all the drill movements down? Then, the cheering voices from the audience echo in your head. Fear, excitment, surprise, pride, joy, longing, reflection resound in the silence, fuel for the fire that is the culmination of all that you have become.
The world, the stage, belongs to those who move to take it.
